The Ruger American AR Pattern rifles

Truly a modern classic of a rifle, designed with the simple and efficient ingenuity to utilize commonly available AR-15 / STANAG pattern magazines for common intermediate calibers, thus increasing it's overall effectiveness and keeping costs low.

When you don't need capacity though and prioritize ergonomics and comfort, the Duramag SS Flush-Fit magazines are a perfect solution for both your Gen 1 and Gen 2 Ruger American rifles with the OEM stock / mag-well for AR pattern magazines.

    DuraMag flush fit magazine

Posted by Peter on 17th Nov 2025

Order came on time and I think the flush fit mag is way better than the AR style mag that sticks out the bottom of my rifle. 3 stars because the mags are not feeding smoothly in my Ruger American Ranch Rifle in 350 Legend. Hopefully they wear in.

Dura Mag Ruger American 350 Legend flush-fit mag

I’ve been looking for some like this since I bought my gun. Wasn’t a huge fan of the long style AR clip digging in my back on hunting trips while carrying the gun. This was a perfect fit and actually feeds the rounds better!!! Thanks Dura Mag for doing this. I’ve been looking for this replacement for a few years,

A great upgrade for the Ruger American Rifle in 6.5 Grendel. It's a huge improvement in handling vs the extended mag supplied. I have to wonder, except for price why Ruger doesn't supply it with the rifle!

    Ruger American 350 Legend Mag

The stock mag makes this rifle unusable for me based simply on the way I carry the rifle. This mag fixes this issue, and it will be in the field for the first time after owning it for 2 years.

Love the flush fit mag for Ruger Gen II 6ARC

Posted by Clyde Cowan on 10th Nov 2025

Love the Flush Fit magazine for 6ARC Gen II Ruger American Replacing the awkward ten round original magazine with the flush fit is like relief from pain. The sweet little rifle becomes what it should be: now easy to carry in hand or crook of arm and convenient to shoot from a rest. It is silent with the flush fit when slung over a shoulder, eliminating the rattle of the original ten round magazine in that position. Bravo Duramag!
