The 28 round Duramag SS 7.62×39 magazine was designed specifically for operator preference and shooters that wish to use 5.56 style kit and pouches. The magazines are a great deal shorter than the 30 round version allowing them to fit more comfortably in any mag pouch or carrier and decreases or eliminates contact with the magazine next to it if in a chest-rig.
I could have bought this at the gun show for 1/2 the price. Spoke with a rep by the name of Yousef and he was not very customer service oriented. He blames on the order was delayed due to Shot Show, the weather, and did not offer a solution. He told me he did me a favor by sending it through USPS to save me a buck or two...SMH. Last time doing business with this company.

I recently switched over to the DurMag for my AR-15 in 7.62 x 39. It was amazing how much fun this gun is to shoot now that I have done this change ! No more jamming, no more "stove piping" , just 100% fun to shoot ! I highly recommend this to anyone who is building an AR-15 in the 7.62 x 39 round. It makes a great shooter and a little less money to operate ! Ammo is now about .39-.42 cents per round compred to ???? per round.Just do it !!!

Have not received product so dont know how it is
Had some problems because you can load like one too many rounds and it wont feed but as long as you take 1 round out after filling mag you are good. I have four of these and they will still fit across a plate carrier fine. No feeding for spring issues. Mags are excellent quality. Will keep watching for AR-47 stuff please make more stuff! You guys are great.
This is the ONLY magazine that fits in a Sig MCX Spear LT chambered in 7.62 X 39, and it fits like a glove. They work flawlessly, no problems loading ammo, no problems going in and out of the magwell of my MCX and they fit well in my mag pouches. I bought two at first and after I used them I had to buy four more. I definitely recommend these mags. Thanks for an awesome product!
