Love the AR big bores but your magazine can’t handle the sheer power or feed these rounds the right way? The .458 SOCOM DURAMAG SS™ is a purpose built .458 magazine right from the factory designed to be a no hassle solution to feeding these large caliber cartridges. Combining DURAMAG’s T-360™ coating with a single stack ADVANCED GEOMETRY FOLLOWER™ and a big bore specific EVERFLEX™ spring, these magazines will be your go-to. Do yourself a favor and get an American-made .458 DURAMAG™ built for one job: to feed 10 big-bore rounds properly every time.
Some of the rounds for 458 SOCOM are not great at feeding in ANY mag. The Extreme Penetrators' have a Philips head and are gagged... I have a hard time getting them to feed ALL the time... Not the mags fault.

Purchased 3 mags, and none worked. The first round hits the base of the lower below the feed ramp, and completely stops the bolt from moving any further foreword. Was using Underwood 350 grain ammo. Inserted a Lancer 30 rnd 5.56 mag, and the rounds fed fine.

I bought a few of these to use with a 458 Socom 16” upper that I built. They worked like a charm with no malfunctions after 60 rounds. For this round that gives me confidence that they will perform as needed.
