DURAMAG has solved the geometry and durability problems of putting straight-walled, big-bore rounds in a magazine designed for smaller, tapered cartridges by simply not doing it. Unlike other stop-gap solutions such as after-market followers or springs, the new DURAMAG .450 Bushmaster is a complete solution designed from the ground up to properly support the round in a magazine that fits into the AR15 magazine well.
Until now the challenge has always been the magazine. While originally intended to fit a standard AR15 magazine, improper geometry and follower design has led to feeding issues and rifle malfunctions. I purchased 2 of these magazines to use in both of my .450 bushmasters since my initial magazines of a different brand seemed to have cycling issues in my newest gun. These mags increased my capacity and run great in both guns. Aside from the product, the customer service was great. I procrastinated before our deer season and these guys were able to expedite my shipping to get me what I needed just in time!

I had bought an AR that came with a AR stoner magazine. It kept having feeding issues and I couldn’t shoot more than one time without it malfunctioning. After I got these magazines, my gun cycles no problem.
I tried ASC brand . They would not cycle rounds and left scratches on rounds. The Duramag fixed the problem..works great.

Great mags that flawlessly feed my RRA upper. Very nice build quality and finish. They hold 7 cartridges, but I can't get them seated on a closed bolt unless they are downloaded to 6 rounds.
