The classics simply never die and M81 will always be an all time favorite. These mags are the first in our new series of pattern anodized magazines that applies the exact and true pattern as a full hardcoat anodize into the material. No corners have been cut, no sacrifices have been made. Immaculate drip and top teir performance all in one package. it's just how we do things.
Just like true M81 Woodland textiles we also took great care that these mags are all somewhat unique as if they were cut from a large roll of fabic and assembled together.
DURAMAG Speed™ magazines are a truly improved USGI magazine. These battle-proven magazines are lightweight, durable and have been the magazine of choice for OEM, Law Enforcement and Military units throughout the world since we began producing in 2011.
DURAMAG Speed™ bodies are constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum and are type-III hard-coat anodized. Unlike other magazines that use inferior coatings to color their USGI style magazines, our wide range of colors are part of the anodizing process and thus, a part of the metal. These magazines and are safe for extended storage while loaded and will not flex or swell like polymer. With our Progressive die tooling, Post and Hole™ design, and fully robotic welding, you can truly depend on these magazines to be consistent every time you buy them, guaranteed.

Very nice color and pattern and as always the nicest metal mags out there

M81 Special Edition
These mags look great. Nice clean separation between colors with no bleed over or blurry edges. Fit and function is unaffected by the anodizing (of course), and they perform just as well as any other DuraMag. My only complaint, and this is a minor nitpick, is that there are some light surface level scuffs and blemishes in the aluminum body on all three of the mags that I received. This does not affect the colors in any way, and are only noticeable when examined up close. I’m not going to take any points off for this as magazines get scuffed up all the time, especially if you’re actually using them. Short version: they look great, run great. Five stars.

Great quality mags
Fit, finish and look of these Duramags are great! I had originally ordered three 20-round magazines but instead I received three 30-round magazines. I'm not complaining too much all things considered since the price was the same, I was just originally wanting 20-rounders for my magazine collection. Still great magazines for any rifle user!

M81 Mag
Decided to grab an M81 mag to go with my M81 LWRC SPR-Mod-0 to finish the look and was not dissapointed. Top notch magazine with a top notch finish.

Solid Mag, Impressive Anodized Finish with Minor Flaws
Duramag continues to deliver quality with this 30-round AR15 magazine. Functionally, it is exactly what I have come to expect—reliable feeding, good construction, and no sharp edges or sloppy welds. What really caught my eye, though, was the anodized M81 camo finish. Pulling that off through anodizing is no small feat, and as someone who works with coatings and metal finishing, I can appreciate the technical challenge involved. That said, the camo pattern, while impressive, did have a few areas where the colors bled slightly or appeared a bit uneven. It does not affect function at all, and honestly, it still looks good—but it is just shy of being perfect. I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars because I believe with a bit more refinement, this could be an absolute knockout. Still a solid purchase and a cool addition to any loadout.

M81 duramags
I purchased a few m81 mags after seeing some really awesome pictures of them. I was very disappointed when I received the mags. I thought there would be more consistency with the m81 pattern. These mags look like they were hydro dipped. I wouldn’t buy them again. I didn’t expect illpro quality but I expected more.
